The Laboratory

Extraction & Distillation
In Charrat, we extract cannabinoids using solvent-based methods. The resulting extracts are refined into full and broad spectrum crude, distillate and oil formulations, ensuring purity, consistency and full compliance with Swiss legal limits.

Crude
Crude is our first-stage cannabis extract. Rich in cannabinoids and terpenes, it serves as the raw material for further refinement into distillates or formulated products.

Distillate
Production of distillate begins with raw extraction. The process then undergoes winterizing to remove residual impurities (fats, lipids, etc.), decarboxylation to activate the cannabinoids, and distillation to purify the target cannabinoid to a high-purity state.

Isolates
CBD isolate is the CBD molecule in its purest form. It contains no cannabinoids other than cannabidiol. During the extraction process, all substances are removed or filtered from the hemp plant except for CBD. Isolate contains over 99% cannabidiol. (DISCONTINUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)
